Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Oracle Fusion WMS Consultant to support the implementation, configuration, enhancement, and optimization of Oracle Fusion Cloud Warehouse Management solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong functional expertise in warehouse management and supply chain processes, along with hands-on experience in Oracle Fusion Cloud SCM applications.
The consultant will work closely with business stakeholders, functional teams, and technical teams to gather requirements, design solutions, configure Oracle Fusion WMS, support integrations, testing, and deployment activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the implementation and configuration of Oracle Fusion Cloud Warehouse Management (WMS) solutions.
- Gather and analyze business requirements related to warehouse and inventory operations.
- Configure and support warehouse processes, including:
- Receiving
- Putaway
- Inventory management
- Replenishment
- Picking
- Packing
- Shipping
- Cycle counting
- Physical inventory
- Returns management
- Configure warehouse structures, locations, zones, inventory organizations, subinventories, and related setups.
- Work with business teams to define and optimize warehouse processes and operational workflows.
- Support integration between Oracle Fusion WMS and other Oracle Fusion SCM modules, including:
- Inventory Management
- Order Management
- Procurement
- Manufacturing
- Transportation Management
- Collaborate with technical teams on integrations, reports, interfaces, APIs, and data migration.
- Prepare functional requirement documents, configuration documents, and solution design documents.
- Support data migration, data validation, and master data setup.
- Develop and execute functional test cases, including unit testing, SIT, and UAT.
- Identify system gaps and recommend appropriate Oracle Fusion Cloud solutions.
- Provide production support and resolve functional issues related to warehouse operations.
- Train business users and prepare user documentation.
- Participate in end-to-end Oracle Fusion Cloud implementation and enhancement projects.
Required Skills & Experience :
- 5+ years of experience in Oracle SCM/WMS consulting.
- Strong hands-on experience with Oracle Fusion Cloud WMS / Warehouse Management.
- Experience in at least one or more Oracle Fusion Cloud implementation projects.
- Strong understanding of warehouse management and logistics processes.
- Experience with Oracle Fusion Cloud SCM modules such as:
- Inventory Management
- Order Management
- Procurement
- Manufacturing
- Strong understanding of receiving, putaway, picking, packing, shipping, replenishment, and inventory control processes.
- Experience with Oracle Fusion Cloud configuration and functional setups.
- Knowledge of integration between Oracle Fusion applications and external systems.
- Experience with REST APIs, SOAP services, Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), or middleware is preferred.
- Experience with data migration and data loading tools such as FBDI, ADFDI, or HDL, where applicable.
- Strong experience in functional testing, SIT, UAT, and production support.
- Ability to work closely with business stakeholders and technical teams.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Oracle Fusion Cloud SCM certification.
- Experience with Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC).
- Experience working in global or multi-location warehouse environments.
- Experience with third-party logistics (3PL) integrations.
- Experience with barcode scanning, RF devices, mobile warehouse solutions, or automation systems.
- Knowledge of supply chain, logistics, and distribution operations.
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Relevant Oracle certifications are preferred.
